Netflix Chooses Perfect Star for Bentham in the Hit Series Upcoming Installment

The Secret Organization is geared up to exert significant influence in the next installment of Netflix’s show of One Piece, even if the true confrontation won’t take place until season 3, and a cherished, audience-beloved member has recently been selected.

Netflix announced recently that the talented performer has joined the One Piece season 3 cast and will embody Bon Clay. This character has the ability to morph into an identical duplicate of any person they’ve touched with their right hand. The actor, who is identifies as non-binary and uses they/them pronouns, will depict a version of that role reimagined as non-binary, as opposed to as a drag queen, in the live-action show, as in the original manga and anime.

This performer will work alongside a number of new cast members set to bring Baroque Works to reality, featuring head Mr. 0, brought to life by the well-known actor, an emerging star as a key member, and Sendhil Ramamurthy, who will appear as the cast as the monarch of Alabasta.

Even though Bon Clay is a important part of the group, the character won’t make their debut One Piece the upcoming installment. Given the second season expected to adapt the Little Garden storyline, this marks a notable change in the timing of Bon Clay’s introduction, one that could indicate further changes to the narrative framework.

Escola’s blend of precise humor and deep sensitivity makes them a standout choice for the part. Besides their current animated role in the youth-focused cartoon movie Boys Go to Jupiter, they garnered significant recognition and multiple awards for writing and starring in the successful stage production Oh Mary!, emphasizing the range they’ll contribute to one of One Piece’s widely praised roles.

The platform’s adapted One Piece show is set to return for its next installment on the tenth of March, 2026.
