The Ideal Pocket Monster Legends: Z-A Super Form According to Your Zodiac Sign

This return of Mega Evolutions in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has sparked widespread excitement across the fandom. Starting with the one-by-one unveiling of newcomers before the title's release, to trainers forming firm opinions on the full lineup of new Megas, there's a lot for fans to look forward to.

Given many of the Super Forms boasting distinctive appearances that highlight their personalities, one idea came to mind: What's the best way to link this with astrology? The following is inspired by a mix of intuition, sign stereotypes, and individual observations.

The Ram – Super Camerupt

To be truthful, Houndour's evolution was nearly selected for Aries, as they are the Mega Pokémon and zodiac symbol that inspire the greatest apprehension. However, a Mega Houndoom appears as constantly angry, which isn't typical of the Ram's energy, renowned for being fun, light-hearted, and impulsive. That's why the Ram far more similar to Mega Camerupt, which only spews lava when provoked. Stay on the good side of either and enjoy a powerful partner; should you offend them, be ready to get burned.

Taurus – Super Heracross

Much like a loyal Bull, the steadfast Heracross, whether in its regular and Super Form, has assisted many trainers in Legends: Z-A. While dependable, each the Pokémon and a Taurus are also battle-oriented, and – be it their companion or a firm belief – will stand up for their position to the end. What about Mega Heracross that reminds me most of my Bull-sign companions, though, is its unashamed love of snacks. Many past Pokédex entries mention their fondness for tasty sap and how it employs its horn to collect it all, which is pure Bull-sign vibe.

The Twins – Mega Medicham

Look at this total royalty. You cannot tell me this Pokémon is not the soul of every party, providing an endless stream of gossip to those who wants to hear. Just like an captivating, gregarious Twins, it's very easy to envision Mega Medicham captivating an entire Wild Zone with their stories. Medicham’s official description also states its ability to predict an opponent's next moves, which sounds very like a people-smart Twins.

The Crab – Mega Manectric

The Crab is commonly regarded as the most sensitive sign of the astrological wheel, a passionate sign known for frequently becoming wrapped up in their emotions. Per the Pokédex, Mega Evolution fills the creature with a “huge amount of electricity, but it's excessive for Manectric to fully control,” which sounds a lot like a classic Crab crash-out. It is also known for its ability to create a storm cloud over its very head – and if there’s a single trait a Crab is likely to do, it’s spoil their own parade.

The Lion – Super Starmie

Well, did you assume I was going to pick Pyroar for the king of the stars? Besides the reality that it would be much too obvious, The Lion is obviously Super Starmie, the star whose legs just became an internet sensation for being too fabulous (or horrifying, depending on your taste). Fans were captivated from the violet starfish, and that’s exactly the same vibe a Lion brings to the table. Starmie is also rumored to be broadcasting signals from its red core out into space, and it’s typical of a Leo to be staging a performance, albeit for extraterrestrials.

Virgo – Mega Victreebel

The always-ready and constantly-worried Virgo is perfectly represented in Super Victreebel, the Mega with constant digestive issues. The sign famous for being endearingly judgmental is clearly mirrored across this Pokémon’s whole evolutionary chain, from a always shocked face like a Virgo when you tell them you lack a retirement plan, to its inverted visage that’s similar to the symbol a Maiden sends to the group chat when all says they want to “go with the flow” rather than making a strategy.

Libra – Super Audino

Look at this sweet, empathetic creature, who uses the feelers on its auditory organs to detect how people are feeling by their pulse. Always empathetic – occasionally to a fault – and trying to keep the peace, there are numerous Scales who would probably appreciate Super Audino's skills. However, to be frank, it would probably just make them stress even more about everyone else.

Scorpio – Super Banette

Banette is a Pokémon with a surprisingly sad origin: Discarded as a doll, it gained consciousness through pure resentment and vowed retribution on its former owner. According to the official info, Mega Evolution, “increases its vindictiveness.” That seems precisely like many discussions I’ve had with my intense Scorpion friends. A Scorpion adores karma and retribution, making them the ideal match with Mega Banette.

Sagittarius – Mega Hawlucha

Both Mega Hawlucha and Archers are always putting on a performance. As a Archer personally, the number of occasions I’ve called myself some variation of a “playful small jester” is countless. The most flamboyant and most attention-seeking Super Form, its Pokédex entry even mentions how it “flexes to display its strength.” I would do the very same thing if I had a Mega evolved form, making Super Hawlucha the most apt Sagittarius match I can think of.

The Goat – Mega Absol

Were you aware that a Mega Absol has the power to foresee calamities ahead of time? That gives the exact same energy as a Goat, who often consistently believe they’re right. Interestingly, much like a visionary Mega Absol, they frequently are. It’s also the absolute first Mega Evolution that trainers meet in Legends: Z-A – typical of a Capricorn to get in on the beginning of the Mega trend.

The Water Bearer – Mega Chandelure

Aloof element Aquarius is arguably the non-flame sign that is most like a flame symbol – its counterpart is the Lion, and there are numerous memes about Sagittarius and Water Bearer being chaotic accomplices. Super Chandelure's dual Ghost/Fire typing fits perfectly with this, and the Super Form's general daunting aura is also very Aquarius. If you hadn't yet persuaded, the Mega’s description says it “draws in hatred and converts it into strength.” If that doesn’t exactly {encaps
